The customers were very pleased with our work, but they asked us to steer the project towards something more rough, closer to the industrial style.
A small two-story townhouse. On the first floor: elements of the façade, a boiler room, kitchen-diner, and powder room; on the second floor: two bedrooms and a master bathroom. In keeping with the customers' wishes, we updated the project, adding concrete, a lot of graphic-like metallic elements, and wooden elements with dark shades. The bedrooms, on the other hand, were changed by adding softer hues. The family has a small child, so we made sure to provide the stairs area with additional protections that do not deviate from the overall style of the railings. The mother had a childhood dream of living in a space with wall paintings. This is why we added an ornament of triangles in the hall area of the first and second floor, complemented by a painting in the dining area. We divided the master bedroom into two sections, with the main one rendered in gray shades transitioning to a delicate pink. The same pink color was added to the children's bedroom. The slatted wood elements balanced the roughness of the overall design, making the project complete and harmonious. This project gave us the opportunity to work with spatial aspects of design that were new to us, which made it truly special.
