Modern minimalist
Our clients had many different ideas and desires, and the task was to accommodate all the above ideas and desires and create a harmonious interior, thought out to the smallest detail.
The clients for this project love traveling and bringing souvenir plates from each country, so we’ve placed the collection of those on the balcony, together with the household head's workplace.
The clients also desired to have a map placed on the living room's wall to remember the sweet taste of travels more often.
A young couple with two different-sex children, a spacious apartment, modern materials, and technologies. Everything as we like it.
“Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” — Ibn Battuta.
We’ve unified the living room, corridor, hallway, and balcony with the same wall covering material: decorative plaster. And there are different light sources in each one of the above-mentioned rooms, for different tasks and different moods. It may seem that everything looks too simple, but with minimalism, you are always in pursuit of simplicity, as less is more.
In the master bedroom, everyone has their own wardrobe, but the wife’s one is larger. It’s a classic. A large bed, high cove, and wooden battens. The presence of wood in the interior allows for better relaxation after a working day.
The bathrooms came out to be incredibly spacious. In the master bathroom, it will always be possible to lie in the bathtub or take a shower. In the guest bathroom, behind the hidden storage system, there are a water heater and a protection against water leakage that are always ready to come to the rescue.
We’ve done our best to fit the most important things into each nursery: a workplace, a bed for sound sleep, and a sofa for receiving guests. Besides that, we’ve placed a floor mirror in the young fashionista’s room and installed wall-bars in the beginning sportsman’s one. That’s it. Continuing the general line of minimalism, we’ve left only the most important items in the nurseries, just added some color.
An additional access point, video doorphone, night lighting, storage space for a robotic vacuum cleaner, for an air washer, and even for a Christmas tree. Everything is thought out to the last detail here. There are two separate wardrobes, one for seasonal clothes and footwear, and the other for household items. There is even a separate place for an ironing board and a drying net. Everything is in its proper place: everything you need for life.
To return to your own home after yet another travel, where everything is provided for a happy life, where you’ll find a map of the world on the wall reminding you how many interesting places are still awaiting you.
